Xirgo Device Manager (XDM) is a system for providing OTA (over-the-air) updates for IoT (Internet of Things) devices, primarily used in vehicle and asset tracking applications. The system consists of a website coded in Angular and C# and multiple back-end services coded in C#.

XDM supports multiple types of device hardware and firmware combinations. Due to this, the configuration is dynamic and templated, ensuring that each hardware/firmware combination receives the appropriate configuration format.

Additionally, Our team handles data ingestion and streaming, enabling efficient real-time data processing for IoT applications. Our infrastructure is hosted on Azure, leveraging the platform’s scalability and reliability.

We are also expanding support to another product, M2M (fleet management), hosted on AWS. This product will require future support and development with Terraform. As such, experience with AWS and multi-cloud environments is highly desirable.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and optimizing the performance of our cloud infrastructure, and supporting the integration of new IoT devices and cloud platforms. You will work closely with our software engineering and hardware teams to ensure seamless and efficient deployment of our services.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of our services.
• Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure;
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Collaborate with global software engineering and hardware teams to deliver projects on time with high quality.
• Contribute to team initiatives to improve the overall development process.
• Implement security best practices to protect our cloud infrastructure and applications.

• At least 3 years’ experience as DevOps.
• Experience working with AWS.
• Experience working with terraform.
• Experience working with kubernetes.
• English language skills.

• Experience working with microservices architecture, RabbitMQ.
• Experience working with Azure.
• Experience working with Gitlab CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with Datadog.
• Experience with in tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
• Azure or AWS certification.
