As Workshop Manager You will optimize and improve quality and availability of the workshop with focus on delivering customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for the overall result of the workshop and to achieve the set targets. You will recruit, manage, and develop own team through a leadership driven by Volvo Values and Volvo leadership principles: lead with passion, perform with purpose and transform with vision. You will be a part of the service network management team which facilitates synergies and cooperation.
Main activities and core responsibilities:
- Be an inspiring leader developing your team members by inclusive leadership and secure everyones involvement and engagement in our development.
- Manage well-functioning workshop according to set standards and processes, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Facilitate all customer relations and activities, securing long term relationships and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and report all KPIs related to the workshop and act to improve them.
- Manage the business plan and budget follow up.
- Take care of security, safety and environmental issues and processes.
- Manage the maintenance and development of the workshop building and facilities.
- Implement new policies and initiatives, leading with a proactive mind-set.
- Secure work in accordance with the values and behaviours in our customer commitments, Volvo values, policies and guidelines.
- Cooperate with other workshops and functions according to the commercial crew way of working.
Who are You?
- Preferably a minimum of 3 years of experience in leadership
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Sales & negotiations skills, commercial attitudes
- Strong solution-oriented and analytical thinking abilities
- Solid planning and organization skills
- Dedication to customer satisfaction
- Ability to anticipate and handle difficult situations
- Ability to take initiatives and lead them
- Flexible and positive approach to changing environment
- Ability to remain calm and logical in a dynamic business environment
- Excellent Lithuanian and good verbal and written English language skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Driving license
- University education with technical or economical background is preferred
